Sometime in the spring of 1992, I was staying in a hotel near the U. of Pittsburgh campus. I had seen a piece on This Week in Baseball about how parts of Forbes Field still existed nearby. After wandering around campus a bit, I found them. The old brick LF wall (with the flag pole in the warning track). Home plate, in a corridor of a classroom building. Being a Pirates fan at the time, it was an almost religious experience.]]></description>
