Lisa Wood, with the Macondo Fire Rescue Venom One Unit, pulling thet that python out of the swimming pool. Sharp lady. A few years ago she was effectively an ambulance driver, rushing supplies of snakebite serum and/or rattler, coral snake and moccasin bite victims to area hospitals – which is still the unit’s “official” job. When these pythons began showing up all over Macondo, they became snake trappers kinda by default. Good bunch of people; Capt. Jeff Fobb, another FRVOU ossifer, is an acquaintance of mine with a shared love of Monty Python and the Coen Brothers.

By the way, a lot of dogs and cats disappear around here too, many of them bigger than a chihuahua. One may hope….
