This is what they call organizational depth. He can play in Syracuse, hope his bat revives and an opening appears in Washington. Not all that likely, given the Nats’ surplus at 1B and corner OF, but stranger things have happened.

i would’ve rather have the nats sign conor jackson on a minor league deal than him…but thats not saying much…

Dude didn’t really get much playing time in Toronto, the poor chook, so I hope he can get some more ABs to prove he’s still has enough to contribute as a ballplayer. Always seemed like a nice enough guy, so Good Luck Mr. Teahen.

Good for him. He could have gone home, done nothing and still have collected millions. Instead, he will still be playing baseball.

Another ex Blue Jay – Shawn Camp was able to get a ML contract with The Mariners. Camp had a slightly off season in 2011, but had pitched well in his previous years with The Jays.
