Especially one offered by Cashman? He is a minor league deal ninja (see “Colon, Bartolo”, and “Garcia, Freddy” and even “Prior, Mark” who added no value but cost the team nothing).

At worst they dump him for nothing. At best they have a caddy for ARod who can hit 12-17 HR. Hall’s 2010 was WAY better than Eric Chavez’ 2011, and everyone seems to love the idea of a Chavez reunion.
