If you take Bobby, the Angels will throw in Tony R… You know, the guy that gave Bobby the too easily reachable “at bats” clause that made him a $9 million Angel this year and traded Mike Napoli for Vernon Wells (and his entire contract). You can have him mentor you entry level front office people – have them do just the opposite of what Tony says…

Bobby Aboo-boo. Never has a player made more out of hollow numbers than he. Up by 5 or down by 7, he’d always pop a homer or drive in a run. Still waiting for him to give back that bogus Gold Glove he ‘won’ in ’05.

He was also 21 of 26 in SB attempts. He still has a bit of value strictly at DH, but the Angels would have to throw in some cash in a trade. Otherwise, the interested team should just sign Johnny Damon.
