Wait a minute. Not such the bargain I initially thought. This deal is NOT 6 years or even 5 years for 36 million as I think it was initially reported. It’s a 4 year deal with an average of 9 million per year. If Cespedes isn’t very good, and quickly, this could turn out to be painful. That said, matsui AND Damon could be signed this year for Shay Cespedes will make.

Based on my experience following these athletes with videos of them performing stunts not related to their sports, they pretty much always flame out.
