Over the last 2 years, he’s been comparatively worse, 15th in WAR out of 23 CFers with 1000+ PAs.

Which sounds great at first. Until you realize he ranks 13th in wOBA and 22nd in WAR among CF over that time. So really he’s someone the O’s should be selling high on, not extending as he’s fairly overrated and not that good.
