So 80 win seasons is your definition of a good year? I know the O’s are not a good team but the Washington Nots are a middle of the pack team so get off the high horse.

We won 80 games last year. We have won 80 games twice since coming to Washington. The Orioles havent done that since the 90s.

the last game of the season meant something for us…stuck it to the red sox and we’ll definitly take that, at the least. i like his swag tho, definitly need it. better than wat luc scott had to say. we need ray ray to get into angelos office and shank out some money from him

MLB in Baltimore: 1954-2011 = 57 seasons
MLB in Washington DC: 1901-1971, 2005-2011 = 76 seasons

Sure, there was no team in DC from 1972 to 2004, but you could say the same for the Orioles since 1997. The Orioles haven’t fielded a team that has won more than 80 games in 15 years. At least you are allowed to bring soda into the stadium–that’s something.

Agreed…I really feel for O’s fans. 2 powerhouses, a team on a shoe string budget that manages to be good every year, and another potential powerhouse in the making…and then they bring in Dan Duquette to clean up this mess. Oh dear god.

The Orioles havent had a top prospect become a star in forever. The product on the field is aweful, the division there in is extremely tough, and the management is a joke. The owner is the problem, and everyone down here near Washington knows it. I give the Orioles credit for only one thing, they do have a beautiful park.
