Also, in related news, who has the fattest staff in baseball? With the Burnett trade now done, I think it has to be the Yankees. Sabthia and Pineda are giants. Phil Hughes and Freddy Garcia are big dudes. Kuroda and Nova need to beef up a little, though.

Of course it counts! The H stands for “his”, not M for “my”. The majority of BSOHL are 3rd party reports, but 1st person quotes are accepted too. All the matters it that somebody implies that somebody is in the best shape of their playing career. With all the craziness around the roster, I think we can just toss out Carlos Gutierrez and add Swarzak only, who has MLB service time.
