they won the division last year, they dont have to make any major moves unlike the 4th (so to be 5th) place jays who need a TON of help but of course they didnt get that done.

They are finally being smart. Okay, not too smart, since they are doomed by the Texiera and Sabathia long term contracts, but those were both pre-Hal. I don’t know why any team would give anyone a contract for more than 3 years. Hoprefully the Yankees new-found frugality will spread through the league. The Red Sux understand it now, the Yankees have caught on, but the second tier (Angels, Rangers) haven’t figured it out yet.

Good luck to Rapada. I can’t imagine he has much of a chance to make the team considering he was released by the Orioles.
