Tim Lincecum is day-to-day with lower back soreness

Tim Lincecum

Tim Lincecum didn’t participate in the Giants group throwing session today because of lower back soreness, according to Andrew Baggarly of CSNBayArea.com.

He did, however, throw alongside a trainer on a different field and is considered day-to-day with the minor injury, so nothing for Giants fans to get too worried about yet.

Baggarly notes that Lincecum “looked just fine” during a bullpen session over the weekend.

I’ve been day-to-day with lower back soreness for years. But I guess Timmy can’t work from home on the days it hurts too much to stand up.

I was gonna say something like, “What are you, twelve?!?”
But then I saw your handle.
      Wasn’t far off…

Yellow-tooth Timmy will just smoke a few bowls to ease the discomfort.

Must be the weight of arbitration.
