Oh I’m not disputing that he hit those speeds, just not routinely. If you go through the PITCHfx data game by game you can see that he did hit 96 sometimes. It just wasn’t a lot.

I do recall being at several games last spring where he was getting up to 95mph maybe 96. Although I’ve always heard that the pitch speeds displayed in stadiums and on TV are inflated

No he wasn’t. PitchFX has his FBv at 93.0. I don’t think it was routinely, though he could have touched that at times.

Hopefully the Big Truck can come back strong. Phils don’t have anyone else that can throw heat like him. He was touching 98mph on occasions last year and routinely blowing 97mph balls by people.
