We began the day with some gratuitous profanity, so let’s end the day with some gratuitous profanity.  This is from Phil Mackey’s Twins’ notebook at 1500ESPN.com:

“(Expletive).”

– Gardenhire, when asked by a reporter what his thoughts where when the Tigers signed Prince Fielder.

Concise. To the point. I like it.

The same people who decide to market “Si Motherf****r” T-Shirts should absolutely get a jump on this quote.

      I’d get that shirt, too.

Gardenhire needs to work in the MLB marketing department. He’s such a wordsmith!

    “(Expletive).”

    – Gardenhire, when asked by a reporter what his thoughts were when Craig Calcaterra fired his previous quote “through the internet”.

Damn, for a second there I thought the Twins had done something to improve their squad………….what was I thinking. Gardy probably had a similar response when they told him that Nathan is gone and Capps is the closer…….or when they told him that Kubel and Cuddyer and Thome are gone and the DH is gonna be…………..aahh “Expletive”!
