Yu Darvish plays catch with his left hand? OK.

Yu Darvish

See anything wrong with this picture? Like, say, the righty Yu Darvish playing catch with the glove on his right hand? According to Evan Grant, Darvish does that sometimes to keep balance. Or something.

Looks cool. But remember, Meat: If you win 20 in the show, you can throw with your left hand and the press’ll think you’re colorful. Until you win 20 in the show, however, it means you are a slob.

At least I think that’s how that quote went.

Here’s an action shot of him.  It’s pretty cool, not?

Pat Venditte would like to sell him a glove for the low, low price of $15MM and a MLB roster spot.

I’ll be impressed when he starts both games of a twin bill, with each arm.

Is this some sort of Princess Bride thing? “I’m not right-handed…”

He looks like a T-Rex there. So tight

Yes, with one stubby little arm.

CC is actually right handed. As a kid he couldn’t catch, so his father got him a glove to go over his right hand and made him throw left-handed. He’s stuck with it all these years.

Billy Wagner was actually right handed, then he broke his arm and was forced to pitch left handed. 100MPH later and a crap ton of saves, seems like a wise decision.

Why do I get the feeling if Yu poops this Spring we’ll know all about it.
