24! How lovely to “see” you. I’ve been working on more luv pomes. Here’s my latest:
” Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily .
24missed dans mon excellente rêve humide”…

…good, eh? That’s the sort of thing I used to compose in the apple tree where I could look over the fence and keep an eye on the neighbor’s daughter working on her tan (strictly for her own safety: sunburns can lead to skin damage, y’know. Besides, I and wanted to be in eye range should she need help with her suntan oil. I’m cool like that). Gaston the Cat was a handy excuse for speaking with her.

Bless you Benji, you often got a bad break from fans but not from the people you played with. In 2010 you got full shares from both WS teams and both were well deserved.

Helped every team he played on. Very underrated at catcher. Pitchers liked the way he called a game. Lincecum loved him. Giants batted him cleanup most of the time because they didn’t have anybody else in 08 and 09 who could hit in that spot, and he still put up good numbers.
Guess he’ll be remembered most for being too slow on the bases and giving way to Buster Posey’s career.
But good job on a nice career overall, Bengie.
