Joba Chamberlain has first mound session since Tommy John surgery

Joba Chamberlain took the mound this morning for the first time since undergoing Tommy John elbow surgery eight months ago, making 16 throws in Yankees camp.

Chamberlain said afterward that “everything went great” and so far at least his recovery has been setback-free, but he’s still a long way from potentially re-entering the Yankees’ plans.

Chamberlain had the surgery last July, so even the best-case scenario would make the 26-year-old right-hander unlikely to return until after the All-Star break.

If you want to see how much press NY gets in everything look no further than Joba. Never has done anything close to the hype he gets. I hope Lin flames out like this too

hope? like you actually thought about this and said ” Man, that Jeremy Lin is being so successful i hope he fails miserably”?
      good for you!

LOL..I’m waiting for Len’s comments, too, but I think he’s at the motor vehicle office picking up his JOBASUX vanity plates.

Cool plates, if so. I imagine that he’d go with “F8T0ADSUX” if they’d let him get away with it.

Darn, hope all is well with yankeefanlen. It’s not like him to miss an opportunity to comment on Joba “The Hut”.
