		<description><![CDATA[I disagree. That photo is vivid evidence of an epic example of a baseball player putting his own health at risk and overcoming a serious injury to continue to compete for his team. Seriously, four months later and the injury is still not healed! But he never left the game and played the next night. 

If it&#039;s still not healed after four months, then that is a very serious injury. I don&#039;t remember Schilling coming to spring training the next season with bloody socks, yet I&#039;ll have to hear about that no-nothing-loud-mouth&#039;s bloody sock for the rest of my baseball loving life.
