Do the Indians have bad news about Grady Sizemore?

Grady Sizemore is unlikely to be ready for Opening Day after being shut down with a back injury and today manager Manny Acta told reporters that the Indians would provide a further update on his status tomorrow.

No reason to be alarmed by that alone, obviously, but Jordan Bastian of MLB.com tweets: “Sounds ominous. Stayed tuned.”

Could be nothing, of course, but given Sizemore’s numerous injuries and countless setbacks during the past two seasons that’s certainly enough to get Indians fans worried about tomorrow’s update.

    Just release him.

The Indians today released the findings of Sizemore’s xrays; Grady is made out of GLASS!!!

The bad news was announced when they re-signed him. He hasnt been even an average player since 2008, he was gone and then for some reason we outbid everyone for his services on a 1 year deal.

Is it too early or late to label Sizemore as a BUST.

For all that “potential”, the Indians have gotten next to nothing out of him. It’s too bad, but it’s time to cut him loose. He obviously is too fragile for professional sports.
