Amen. Willie was a class act going in, and only looked classier coming out – while the Mutt quitters, chokers and shirkers, and especially Willie’s primary Brutus, Jerry Manuel, came off looking like the bush leaguers they really were.

Valley Fever is a sneaky, nasty disease. It acts like a cold, you cough some, no big deal. Then it spreads through your whole body- it’s a fungus that grows in your lungs. My dad had a lobe of his lung removed because of it, and my cousin (from Arizona) had it spread, and she got IV treatments every day for about a year. Gotta feel for Ike here, this stuff really doesn’t seem like much and then WHAM! Hope they get this nailed in time.
