		<description><![CDATA[He&#039;d be in camp right now if he hadn&#039;t told the Bucs &quot;no thanks&quot; when they made it clear they wanted him back.  Now, I know the Pirates won&#039;t be anyone&#039;s first choice, ever, but teams aren&#039;t exactly lining up right now.  And if you&#039;re willing to sign with Baltimore last year, signing with Pittsburgh isn&#039;t that much more of a step down.

So instead of opening the season as the starting first baseman in Pittsburgh, he&#039;ll be bugging his agent to see if anyone called.  If this does lead to retirement, he has nobody but himself to blame for not at least leaving that door open.]]></description>
