Besides it’s not like he had enough advantages playing at Coors Field, if he couldn’t wrap it up before his last at bat playing half his games mile high he didn’t deserve it.

Bruce Bochy is a douce bag every day of the week.

First I can recall is when he had umpires force Manny Aybar to remove his cap in the middle of an inning. Aybar’s friend Jose Oliva had died in a car accident in the Dominican Republic that off-season, so Aybar had written his uniform number on the side of his cap.

Bochy complained that he was out of uniform.

Bruce Douchey’s been at it a long long time.

It’s classless to pitch around the other team’s best hitter?

If he had gotten a hit, would you have said he won the batting title on the last day of the season in a meaningless game?

I’ve never understood why people take these stances on statistical landmarks.

I’ll never forgive Bochy, back when he was with San Diego, for intentionally walking Todd Helton in an otherwise meaningless last at-bat in a meaningless last game of the season, costing Helton a chance to win the NL batting title. Classless and clueless.
