I only caught the first three innings last night and I thought it brought out more of what baseball was intended to be. No constant chatter, just the game and players, umpires, managers talking.

That was hilarious!! Kipnis is already a fan favorite and that sense of humor will only help. Great idea MLB! Its a great way for fans to see what’s going on in the dugout and getting to know the players and coaches better.

Kipnis may not be able to sing but he is going to be a stud for the Tribe. With ACab and Kipnis at short and second they have a fierce middle infield.

Enjoyed watching this game very much. Minimal announcing and sounds from the field such as gloves smacking and the sound of the bat hitting the ball were a refreshing departure from the incessant banter coming from the annoying announcers (take your pick) in the booth. Now if the league could give you different video angles like from the 3rd base or 1st base side or even an overhead shot of the diamond on demand and less close up face shots of the hitters, they could make the game TV friendly once and for all.
