Washington has an exciting team. If a player like harper does not make their roster initially that is a testament to the team he will eventually join and not a knock against harper himself. The better the team is i would think the better the chances of him wantting to stay, financial situation aside, when his arbitration years are up. Yep i am getting ahead of myself a bit but from what i have senn he is gonna make it barring serious injuries.

The kid may have made some mistakes and done a few immature things in the past. But, he was a kid. He is at least saying the right things in public at this point. That is at least a step in the right direction. If he just keeps playing hard, with his talent, he has a very high chance to be at least a solid major league starter, if not a star.

You know, if we all just leave he kid alone for a year or two he will probably mature just fine and have a good career. I am sick of hearing from him, but that’s not his fault. Everytime I look at the sports section there is something about him having a hangnail or something.

From a distance it almost appears Harper’s dad sold Bryce’s soul long ago….the Nats have been following the same formula it would seem….let’s see what happens here….it should be fun…

Look, I’ve never denied Harper has maturity issues. Just thought they were overblown, considering he’s still a teenager. Hopefully, he really means what he says, and will work hard at Harrisburg and/or Syracuse. Then, come up when he’s ready and be part of the middle of the Nats’ batting order for oh, the next 15 years.
