That would give a bench of Blanks, Kotsay, Jesus, Parrino, and Baker.

Based on Brew Crew mumblings, I suspect Venable is a better CF than Kotsay these days, though that’s not saying much. Anyone seen Kotsay in the outfield recently?

If the Padres insist on an outfielder that can actually play defense, then Blake Tekotte is next in line.
