I didn’t say it didn’t. Just think it’s interesting how the “defensive replacement” talk is all about benching Cabrera, when he should actually stay in the game and move to 1st in any defensive replacement strategy.

That would be a great strategy if we had Jose Reyes. Peralta runs like he’s dragging a piano, so he can’t play tight to Miggy like that.

If he does leave him in I bet the shortstop will be positioned close enough to shake hands with Miggy.

Actually, taking Prince out and shifting Miggy to 1st makes more sense than just replacing Miggy at 3rd. But, they probably won’t do that either.
