No pressure, Jason Kipnis

Mar 15, 2012, 12:00 PM EDT

This tweet from Peter Gammons, quoting Many Acta, is probably gonna make Jason Kipnis either really happy or really scared. Not sure which:

No pressure.  Especially considering he was converted to second base from the outfield.

    Maybe he meant looks-wise.

Um, why is the photo a random image of a dog in someone’s backyard?

Now it’s gone. I swear I’m not crazy. Well, in this example anyway.

I don’t think you are crazy, stairs, I think it’s just Peter gammons’ avatar on twitter. Now, why Peter gammons has that as his avatar is another question.

It was a huge photo. Weird!

And he sings Adele while he’s out there at 2nd. (I can’t find the link, it was during one of those ST games with a live mic last week) For that, my kid will love him forever – being almost 5, she didn’t realize that ball players could do anything except “throw the ball, catch the ball, and hit the ball” while they are out there. (we’ve trained her up right – she’s always on the lookout for lolly gaggers.)

Actually it was just another pocket tweet by Peter.

Maybe he meant Pedroia’s defense and Utley’s knees?

If that was a swipe at Pedroia’s defense, then you’ve never watched him field…
