3-4 months….plus rehab so were looking at August or September before he might be back. This was the year this team was going to begin turn heads. Salvy can really hit. Big loss.

The Royals should definatley sign Pudge. although his bat is in decline , he brings leadership, defense and the ability to handle a young pitching staff. give him a 1 yr deal and see what happens

I would be OK with Pudge coming in on the cheap, but I see one of two things happening. Dayton saying some crap like “We don’t want to bring in a veteran b/c we believe in the youngsters we have here.”, or he ends up signing Pudge to some ridiculous 2 year contact similar to the Kendall contract.

This is a bummer. Pena is good for a fill in, but I hope they dont sign Pudge. At this point he doesnt have anything left and is just holding on to try for 3000 hits.
