Another Phillies infielder is banged up

Mar 27, 2012, 4:44 PM EDT

The starters are hurt, the backups are hurt, everyone’s hurt:

Sounds minor. But really, at this point I think Ruben Amaro should look into signing Juan Samuel or Mickey Morandini or someone.

I think the only people associated with the team who haven’t suffered anything is the beat writers…..but with all these extra tweets, maybe carpel-tunnel or something….lol

Jeez, maybe just pay Vladamir Guerrero to stand at second base and hopefully deflect balls to the pitcher and jimmy rollins??? At least he will hit.

    Steve Jeltz!

uhh….no. Any Phillies fan over 35 realizes that one Steve Jeltz era is enough. Besides, can the Phillies find any oil for his jheri curl?

It’s funny you mention Mickey Morandini…he’s in Phillies camp to manage their low A team in Lakewood this year.

Every time I hear that name my mind replays it in the voice of the late, great, Harry Kalas. He had a way with that name. Mickey More-an-dini!

Harry the K…RIP. We miss you.

I’m thinking the Phillies are going to have to trade for Ramiro Pena. I think a Pena for Halladay swap sounds fair!

For a realistic rumor, Ryan Theriot is being shopped.
