Granted, it’s a bit of a hollow honor. Carp beat Larry Chipper, Drew Storen, and a number of others to the DL due to a fluke in the schedule. Still, one would think Mike Carp would get something for the honor of it.

Worse than that, Wedge has an unnatural love for Carlos Peguero, that precludes common sense about his hapless plate approach and well below par defense. But he does “play the game the right way”. ::sigh::
