Frankly, I&#039;d just as soon HBT dumped these stupid thumbs up/down images anyway. They&#039;re easy to manipulate so the ratios of approval/disapproval they express are nearly meaningless, and they permit the lurking assholes who use them to avoid actually entering into the discussion with explanations of their reactions. Granted, in the cases of certain correspondents here that might be a blessing, but in the end these silly icons defeat the whole purpose of having a discussion forum in the first place.]]></description>
