Since the acquisition of Roy Oswalt has faded, perhaps the next best option for the Cards would be the hiring of Pinero, for security reasons. And Brandon Webb on a flier, makes some sense too.

Pitched in 64 games, had 1 blown save and 4 losses. Yeah, he blew games every time out. You see, this is why looking at a record of events is better than relying on memory.

Those numbers are deceiving. When he was a Brave it was a death sentence whenever he came on to pitch in a tight spot. Seemed like he always blew the game.
