Isn’t it AWESOME to see the Rockies starting off RIGHT where they left off???

NOWHERE! I struggle watching the saps who show up and plunk down good money for an organization committed to mediocrity.

At least ODowd was honest when he said “Rockies baseball is more about entertainment than it is about winning.”

First of all, I’m a Yankee fan. I really don’t care about the Reds any more or less than another non-rival NL team.

Secondly, Arroyo compiled -1.3 WAR last year. If he wasn’t an innings eater but, say, Erik Bedard, the team would have won an extra game last season.

There’s value in innings, but not if they’re terrible.

Craig the dodgers have the same lineup basically that bought the nl championship series two years on a row. They have gotten better since then. You are a whole lot of nothing!! God your terrible!!!

uyf1950, how are they not as strong? they signed darvish, who is looking pretty alright coming out of spring training (I understand that doesnt mean much). the only two questionables are neftali in the starting rotation and nathan as a closer (if he can get back to his original place). answer, Ogando. Aside from pujols, what has your line up done? can morales come back from his injury? if not, good luck with your new guys trying to step up.

All these reason of why the red sox are suspect but they had things go horribly wrong last year and still won 91 games. no lackey, yes please If crawford can come back and stay even a litlte bit healthy thats only a bonus.
A healthier bucholz (IMO the red sox best starter, you’ll see)
Dice K to give them depth in the middle of the year
bobby V to distract the media from the players
and Youk potentially staying healthy and producing 300 30 100 once again.

The red sox have flaws and the yankees are defanetly the favorites but there a pretty good team with a stacked lineup and a potentially good pitching staff. who knows bard can be the next CJ wilson. PS Lester is overrated. He’s not an Ace.

I don’t really hear anyone picking the red sox and i’m a red sox fan. I think theres holes on every team in the league this year except maybe the angels. The AL east has 4 good teams. The yanks no doubt are the preseason favorite but I wouldn’t be shocked to see the red sox or rays win the division with the blue jays 2nd or 3rd and get in with a wild card

AL Fantasy League sounds like my type of game. I’m too hard on Beep-beep only because he hits into more double plays than he initiates at SS. Regardless, he’s on my non-fantasy team and somehow I get sentimental when his 3000th hit is a home run, just seems so Yankee-like that I get…a…little…..talk amongst yourselves.

craig shouldnt be a writer ur right, but hes right about the holes in the tigers lineup n that verlander wont have his magical numbers season this year… he took a mediocre team on his back last year …i applaud him if he can do it again but adding prince awas really good for the tigers all im sayin is they got a alot of mediocre talent in the lineup n rotation

i know the phillies got big questions about howard’s health n utley’s but we got the big 3 who make up for so much offensive problems. doc is hungrier than ever , lee is lookin to bounce back from Game 4 against the cards and shut his critics up and hamels is pitching ofr more money. then the lineup isnt horrible as everyone says…. people dont realize we had the #1 offense the 2nd half of the season last year in the national league…. subtract utley n howard but we got pene for a full year , pierre is gona produce..polanco looks healthy…j-roll , victorino chooch…. id take that lineup over anyone’s in the national league .

I love my team, but until I’ve seen them play a few games I’d put them around 5-6.

the red sox and rays ahead of the phillies ? u serious? the phillies had 102 wins last year n ur gona put the sox rays n angels in front of them? congrats to the rays for there great addition of carlos pena who gona completly solitify there great offense that they have (sarcasm) whos there starting pitching 2nd year man matt moore? ur gona put that offense n that rotation over the philadelphia phillies? do people realize the phillies got the best 3 in baseball or does that not amount to nothing? and ur gona put the boston choke sox in front of the phillies too. they replaced papelbon with andrew injured bailey … josh beckett is hit or miss or injured , john lackey is as inconsistant and downright an implosion ready to happen as aj burnett is .. lester is really there only legit starting pitcher that u can count on. the tigers got verlander n then whos after him? the tigers got miguel n prince but whos around them? …. tthe rangers lost there top starter in cj wilson n there pitching is mediocre but theyre lineup is great i gota give them that. id still edge the phillies on them with the big 3 AND then hunter pence j-roll victorino a healthy polanco and chooch and pierre. we should easily be #2 or #1
