It doesn’t make me less of a jagoff. I never said that. I love baseball and got excited to see blind man throw a strike. I was unimpressed. Get over it. You Americans need to wake up. This country is nothing but a money pit for us outsiders. Your government lets us get away with it. You should be happy that I am paying taxes and not receiving hand-outs like so many lazy Americans. The education system is flawed here. If it wasn’t that way there wouldn’t be so many “aliens” in the states writing code for all of your software companies. I’ll make my cash and go back to my country in a few more years, you should just be happy that someone is pulling their weight.

But I will say this: This is the country in which you currently reside (I presume, though you have not said), and you were free to come here from Germany two years ago—a right for which he fought—so he did fight for your rights, even if he didn’t fight for “your country,” which you chose to leave…and come here.

And just so OG won’t think I’ve gone all the way soft, I have to point out that the Ryan Budget, passed by the House along party line votes this year, will lead to a 95% reduction in Federal spending on “discretionary” activities, based on CBO projections. Included in the agencies funded by this spending is the VA, or Veteran’s Administration, the agency that takes care of guys like Jeremy Feldbusch after he’s been discharged.
