After a spring training filled with elbow tenderness, this is not good news for Nats closer Drew Storen:
Drew Storen will visit Dr. James Andrews after feeling tenderness in his elbow during a sim game. Nats fear bone chip.

Storen began the season on the DL, of course. In his absence the Nats are going with Brad Lidge. Here’s hoping Dr. Andrews doesn’t deliver the news that made him famous.

An inverted W is really an “M” as in “Maybe next year.”

I see. Thanks for the explanation. I went a whole different way with it Reflex.
I thought he stating (with scarcasm) that a bone chip would be great so he would miss some time.
Naturally, a bone chip is a hellava lot better than TJ surgery. Thanks again.

“Nats fear bone chip.” Really? Shouldn’t it be more like, “Nats praying for bone chip”?

Joe: Pardon my ignorance…but what am I missing in your post?
Storen is the real deal. Why would they pray for a bone chip?

Because the alternative is Tommy John surgery. A bone chip does not leave him out for 18 months.
