If they can get to Felix, they can make some noise in the West. but making noise and actually winning are unfortunately not quite the same thing

It isn’t fair, and I wouldn’t get too carried away with the 7 ER thing, although I did predict the A’s would only average about 2 ER off him this year. That could still come true. But rooney is right, facing the King 3 times in 8 games is an artifact of the schedule.

That is less about the unbalanced schedule and more about their odd schedule to start the season. Besides, I thought it helped to see a pitcher multiple times in close succession. You would think it would give the A’s that advantage (and it seems to be doing that). If not Felix, they would have faced some other team’s #1 starter, and would have to face the Yanks, Rays, Sox, and Tigers that many more times on the season.
