Force Angelos to sell the franchise. He is bad for baseball. Worst owner in Baltimore sports history, he has flown by Irsay. Irsay may have been a drunk, but he left because amongst other things he couldn’t get a stadium deal. Angelos has just held the Orioles hostage for 20 years.

He pitched for the Angels several years ago, got busted for pine tar on his glove and has never been the same since. The Angels released him and the Cubs signed him. Why would any team sign him for that much money?

He saved a lot of games for Toronto one year. But they were hardly ever the 3 up and 3 down kind.

He nibbles at the strike zone. His stuff isn’t good enough to get anyone to swing and miss. We could get a guy to do what he does at a tenth of the price. Angelos never knows when to cut his losses.

We were extremely pleased with his performance today. If my memory is correct, he came into a 3 to 2 game with 2 runners on and 2 out. Matuz had pitched well, but Gregg then allowed both inherited runs to score as well as 3 of his own.

In summary. Well played Gregg! We hope to see you again.

I’m suddenly reminded of Ozzy Guillen’s quote on aj pierzynski: “When you play against him you hate him, when you play with him you hate him just a little less”. I feel like Gregg is like that when he’s doing well. Now that he’s not…well he’s just a supremely hate-able guy

The title couldn’t be more true. I like Gregg’s bulldog attitude, but O’s fans and Baltimore-based cardiologists alike would prefer he left the team.

I think it’s also been a while since Toronto fans have been so happy to see Gregg (after the initial obligatory booing he received).
