If I am the Brewers, Kottaras is on the trading block ASAP. They just signed Lucroy to a long-term lucrative deal, and are rightly committed to a very good backstop. Sell while the iron is hot, I say, and get the max for a guy who has never shown these kind of power numbers before. There are teams in need of a catcher, and Kottaras, who is also dependable defensively, would be an alternative upgrade over the likes of Saltimacchia,/Shoppach, Buck/Hayes, Thole/Nickeas,Castro/Snyder, Marttin/Stewart, Molina/Chirinos/Bobaton/Gimenez/Vogt, Ianetta/Wilson, Suzuki/Recker/Donaldson, just to name a few.

Yep best OBS+ last year in MLB for catchers, with an ungodly amount of innings, and playing through a serious shoulder injury for the last two months. The dude just does not get the respect he deserves, will only get better IMHO, particularly since he has only been playing the position for a short time.
