However, just as the game was about to begin, the lineup change was announced.

The Nats put out a lineup with DeRosa batting 3rd, Chad Tracy (giving LaRoche a day off) batting cleanup. Strasburg wasn’t that sharp, but pitched 6 scoreless. Anibal Sanchez was sharp until hanging pitches to Desmond and Werth. Then Lidge blew the save by hanging one to Logan Morrison. Happily, Gaby Sanchez threw a ball away in the 10th, setting up Desmond’s walk-off sac fly.

And they got the game in well in time to avoid the major thunderstorms headed our way. The Nats are 12-4. Life is good.
