AP Adrian Beltre missed more than a month with hamstring problems last season, so there was plenty of worrying in Texas when he exited Saturday’s game with a left hamstring injury.
However, according to T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com an MRI exam showed only a mild strain and Beltre is officially listed as day-to-day.
He’s not in the lineup tonight, so Michael Young will start at third base with Brandon Snyder at designated hitter, but it sounds like Beltre will definitely avoid the disabled list.

Well, you know the Rangers have a Little Yu now, right? He was around at Spring Training and I saw him wandering the stands at the Ballpark during Yu Darvish’s debut. He seems to be a full-grown man, just about a foot shorter than Yu.
