Hurry back Andy, Hughes and Gar-see-ya aren’t the answers. Hughes is too mellow to bear down for four innings, nevermind 7 or 8. Either ship him to the BP or trade him back home to SoCal. As for Garcia, we were lucky to get that one-year journeyman effect last year. Now cut our losses and run.

The city of Trenton is like a kid brother to cities like Detroit or St. Louis. Pettitte probably rushed through his start because he wanted to get out of there.
Seriously, he is still in his own spring training. Pettitte still has some miles on his career and will be a legit starter in the Yankees rotation in less than four weeks.

Pettitte will be just fine. Better than most of the current Yankee staff…and ALL of the current Red Sox staff.

I was at the game too. I don’t know, this Andy Pettitte prospect may have a nice future ahead of him. To be fair, the defense behind him was sloppy.

I was at the game. It was great to see Andy pitching again, but he was getting hit up by the Erie Seawolves or whatever. I think Cashman’s “few” is a short estimate, more like 5-7.
