Wow, to think that they could have had a local legend and selected Posey instead of Beckham, imagine how good they would have been with Posey in the lineup.

They also apparently had Lincecum pre-signed to a contract until Longoria fell into their lap. That decision worked out a whole lot better for them than this one.

Does this make 3 recent #1 draft picks by the Rays who had drug use problems? Hamilton, Bush(?) and Beckham. Young has also had a few issues.
