I’m a Phillies fan, but wish Thole luck and to get better soon. That was a nasty unintentional shot he took. Nobody wants any player on any team to be having concussion systems.

Here’s hoping the 7-day stint isn’t extended to one of the 15- or 60-day variety. Concussions are nasty and unpredictable things. Get well soon.

That looked like it hurt bad. I hope Mr Thole is alright but it wouldn’t surprise me if he ends up in Justin Morneau territory.

I watched the collision and although the shoulder hit his chin, flush, and really wrenched his neck, it was a good and legal slide/collision. Sad to see thole laying there, face down without moving. Wasn’t sure what was wrong at first until they showed the replays. This is the 2nd 7 day concussion this week (Chavez NYY). Hope they get better fast.
