Holy sh—- Gator you sound just like me in that rant. LA alone blows 100 million per year trying to fight prostitution. Think about it. How much does the nation spend trying to fight it? I’m all for regulating and taxing it. I imagine that alone could pay off our deficit after a few years.

Well no, they’re repeat offenders because there’s something seriously wrong with them. They’re out on the streets again, however, because of a combination of ineffectual laws, lack of funds for more intensive treatment regimens during their incarcerations, and prison overcrowding because we insist on wasting needed jail space on victimless crimes like mere drug possession or prostitution, as well as because sentences are far too lenient in the first place.

Damned if I know. I hope it’s just the prosecutor lodging the quickest set f charges he can put in front of the judge to keep this piece of garbage under wraps until he can present a fuller set of information and add the felony charges. Otherwise, it’s time to head to Albany and get the cretins of both parties to pass some serious legislation in a serious hurry, election year or not.

No, I did not read about any molestation in the linked article. I would think molestation would result in a felony charge in New York. If not, those folks in Albany got some ‘splaining to do.

Trust me, I think we’re on the same side of the fence on Jerry Sandusky, Bill Conlin, etc.
