The speed with which the ball is hit doesn’t change the fact that you should never finish your delivery with your back toward the plate. That’s just leaving yourself defenseless on comebackers, even those that aren’t the Miggy rocket variety.

C’mon dude, you have to get in position as you follow through on your delivery! There’s no excuse for a pitcher to ever get hit on the back, short of slipping on the plant.
