I dare you to go back and find video footage of someone running over the catcher before Rose did it in the All-Star game.

That happned when I was six and I knew it was wrong then. I’m 47, but in the history of the game, that makes it fairly recent development.

If anything, collisions with a catcher is more new school than old school.

Just like most of the issues baseball has today.
