Top 5 in attendance since Arte took over???

I agree the bandwagon is overcrowded with new comers this year who are probably wondering where Reggie Jackson and Nolan Ryan are. A bit irritating at times to normal fans but what can you do?

But watching the Dodgers decent into 2nd fiddle status is spitefully enjoyable.

Yes Pujols hasn't exploded yet, it's coming. In his slump he's getting constant coverage like he's OJ in a white Bronco. The Dodgers are at their apex for the year and few care. They will care even less after their inevitable June implosion and July fire sale.

Dodger's are not a bad tam but continually shoot themselves in the foot post all star break. Frank is gone and new ownership steps in.... For their sake I hope Magic is more of a figurehead and less of a decision maker.

Agreed on both, but there isn't much out there right now on the trade market for 1B.

I think the Either decision waits until the offseason (not really my choice) since the new owners will want to take a hard look at him AND his asking price. Andre is not worth as much as he thinks he is, and its possible some team will overpay, but I see no reason why something can't be worked out. And Kemp wants it to happen.

Loney looks and sounds lost, and flirting with the Mendoza line isn't helping. Though riding pine might not help at all, at some point sticking a kid in there equals out the same.

I'd still like to see Jerry Sands back in LA, but Van Slyke deserves a shot. I imagine, given his track record, Stan Kasten is not afraid to let prospects play over the "proven veteran" crap that McAsshat and Needle Head Ned insisted on.

At least Loney's glove has value, but I see no way James is resigned.

I'd hardly call Anaheim a "Big Market", even with Disneyland, considering their owner felt the need to put "Los Angeles" in their name, then bury Anaheim after. Guess we know where he would rather be.

Speaking of the red headed stepchildren, are they still looking UP at the rest of the power house AL West? And how is that ROI on their Pujols investment coming along? The bandwagon of angels fans should stick to worrying about their team.

Van Slyke has played 1B in the minors so it would appear he'll platoon with Loney as opposed to Abreu, especially if Abreu can reach base at a decent clip. Loney seems completely lost at the plate so I am up for Abreu and Van Slyke starting games with Gwynn and Loney coming in for defense in the latter innings.
