Wright has been much better that old “what’s his name”. I am more surprised by the high priced first baseman in NY who was a candidate for the BSOHL list, but is not hitting close to his weight.

Although his split is significantly better on the road than at home, he is driving the ball much better at Citi Field this year. There is no question that he got discouraged hitting the ball 420 feet & either flew out or only got a double. The changes, I believe, have him feeling much more comfortable, going to all fields, instead of being pull-happy, trying to shoot the ball over the fence in left, as he was doing the past couple years at Citi.
