He didn’t make anyone forget Ozzie but he played well enough that the Cardinals hung onto first place. Might not have won a 10th WS that year.

Of course since then he’s gotten fans in Chicago and LA to boo him when he steps out of the dugout. But I’ll always remember him for what he did in ’06.

When He Played in St. Louis, I was fortunate enough to meet him, watch him do so.
