If somehow I end up with a good closer, they get delt before the season begins. Chances are very high I can pick up a hot setup guy on a team with a shaky closer and end up with a ‘free’ closer off waivers. And if I don’t, oh well, saves is just one stat and by focusing on others I increase my odds of winning those.
