Yep, and sadly he is stinking up the joint at AAA. Unless there is a run of injuries or a trade, it is doubtful Lannan will be back this year. The Nats also signed Zach Duke, who is pitching much better than Lannan at AAA and would be a better call up candidate if they needed a spot start right now.

Refreshing to see a player volunteer to go the bullpen to help the club and work his way back. I understand there isn’t much for for him in rotation but there are plenty of starters who would bitch and moan like a little girl if they had to go to the pen.
Hope he makes it back and is productive.
